This year, on our annual Vegas getaway, we finally got to see The Sphere for ourselves.
I was able to purchase last-minute tickets for a daytime showing of Postcards from Earth. At about $100 a ticket, it’s not exactly a budget-friendly attraction, but it’s definitely a one-of-a-kind experience. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this would be something special.

The screen wraps around the very steep seating, pulling the audience right into the story. What I loved most is that it wasn’t just about the incredible visuals, which I didn’t know going in. The seats gently vibrate, wind whooshes past your face, the temperature changes, even the air is scented to match the scenes on screen. One of my favorite moments was during a scene set in a citrus grove. A soft, warm breeze blew through the theater, and the air filled with the crisp, sweet scent of oranges. It was magical and you KNOW it reminded me of Soarin’ at WDW. (Why does everything lead me back to Disney?)

It was absolutely worth it for our family. It felt like stepping into the future of entertainment, and getting to share the experience with my little family made it all the more memorable.
